A winding-up order was issued on 10 March, relating to an unpaid figure of £52,000. The company is now in liquidation with the Official Receiver.
Tyne and Wear-based Spenaprint emerged from the demise of Norscreen, which was bought out of administration by Dark Peak Trading in February last year.
The company traded with 52 employees after being bought out of administration, but it is understood that this figure was closer to 30 at the time of writing.
According to the Insolvency Service, it will now interview the company's director Graham Spencer in order to gather information on other creditors to the business.
The rescue deal to save the company last February came as a surprise to many when Graham Spencer and Paul Thompson, directors of Dark Peak Trading, took on the business.
Speaking at the time, Spencer said: "I’m still reeling under the shock of it all. Norscreen is potentially very profitable and a viable proposition. It perhaps needs some better management and innovation."
Norscreen's successor Spenaprint falls to receivers
Dark Peak Trading, trading as Spenaprint, has been wound up following a petition issued by Robert Horne Group resulting in 30 staff being made redundant.
