Newcomer high-end Spindle magazine tasks Wyndeham Grange for first issue

West Sussex-based Wyndeham Grange has printed the first issue of Spindle Magazine.

The new arts-based magazine launched last week (Thursday 20th) and aims to promote emerging talent across the creative field, focusing on fashion, music and photography.

Each issue of the 92pp magazine will be beautifully illustrated or creatively styled and photographed, which its publisher claims will give it an edge over other free magazines.

"Most of the free magazines in Brighton are cheaply produced A3-folded and saddlestitched; we wanted to create something that had more of a luxury to it, so it's A4-format with a trim size of 210x210mm square, and we've used hand-drawn typography for the headings throughout the issue," says Sarah Ferrari, designer for Spindle Magazine.

An initial run of 10,000 copies will be distributed quarterly in Brighton and selected areas of London, targetting young creatives in the 18 to 35 age range.
