What do you think will be the greatest opportunity for and threat to the print industry next year?
To diversify and provide a varied range of services and solutions for its customers - i.e. a mix of digital and printed media. Ironically, digital media itself could be seen as print’s greatest asset.
What do you believe is the most under-recognised aspect in printing that is likely to gain more prominence in 2012?
Web to Print. The technology has been gaining momentum for some years now and already plays a major role in the industry in mainland Europe and America today. I believe that 2012 will see a greater uptake from UK printers who are looking to broaden their customer base and service their larger clients more effectively.
