Its first product, FirstProof, is a tool that allows soft proofing of the output of multiple Harlequin RIPs remotely, prior to plate or film exposure.
FirstProof is available at the starter price of 200. Further products that will hook into the Harlequin RIP are promised for next year.
Hamillroad chief executive Andy Cave began the development of the PostScript interpreter that became the Harlequin RIP as part of his final-year degree project, before joining Harlequin (now Global Graphics Software) in 1997.
