The Xtensions, which include Bookletizer, Art Gallery XT, Crops XT, FlexScale, Resize XT, Nametag and GridMaster, were designed for QuarkXPress 7.0.
However, universal binary (UB) support for PowerPC and Intel Macs, which was added for 7.1, rendered
the XTensions inoperable in the latest version of Quark’s eponymous desktop-publishing software.
A spokeswoman for XChange said: “The problem we’ve had is that these were released for 7.0, but with the UB, we’ve had to re-write almost everything.”
The updates are compatible with QuarkXPress 7.1 and offer universal binary support for PowerPC and Intel Macs.
