New owners at Rosehill Press

Rosehill Press has secured fresh investment from new owners and will now become part of a Hertfordshire based creative agency.

The Rotherham print firm was put up for sale in July after the business struggled to cope with the loss of its biggest customer.

In a short announcement issued today (30 August) Rosehill Press said it was “business as usual” under new owners Grace Group.

“With investment from new owners, Rosehill Press will become part of Grace Group, retaining the majority of its current staff but now with a new management team Steve Day (CEO), Dominic Walsh (CCO), David Oakley-Brown (CFO) and maintaining Martin Horner’s wealth of knowledge and experience as managing director,” the firm said in a statement.

Further information was unavailable at the time of writing.

PrintWeek understands that former Rosehill Press managing director Christian Chadwick is still with the business, but in a different role.

Grace Group is based in Ware and offers concept, design, artwork and production services. The company was incorporated just over three years ago and includes Grace CPL, Grace Distribution, and now Rosehill Press.

Clients include the NHS, Vitabiotics, and London Stansted and Manchester Airports.

Chief executive Day has spent nearly 20 years in the industry in a variety of production and print buying roles, most recently at Oliver Agency and Williams Lea Tag.

Grace Group appears to be readying a new look (below) for the business. The Rosehill Press website has been unavailable and 'under construction' for a while, although the firm's RPL Print online print site remains live.
