Net expands to aid Integrator delivery

Net Integration Technologies has appointed Eurographic Solutions to handle distribution of its Net Integrator Super Server product, including the new EQUE file transfer system.

Michael Glanville, former ECRM European marketing manager and now head of Eurographic Solutions, said Net Integrator was aimed at printers, publishers and designers who send large files over the internet.

"Instead of paying monthly charges the user pays a one-off fee reducing connectivity costs," said Glanville.

Net Integrator has a DoubleVision feature, which allows connection using two internet links from separate internet providers, offering guaranteed connection in the event that one line should stop working.

Other features include a self-configuring firewall providing a built-in recovery system and a secure operation free from outside intruders.

Glanville said EQUE had a specialist feature for the printing industry, saving time and costs in relaying amended files back and forth.

EQUE scans the original file and registers the changes that have been made. Only then is the file transmitted, with EQUE sending only the changes to the file receiver.

At the recipients end, the file is then rebuilt to incorporate the changes, once the changes have been checked and received correctly.

If any information is missing the EQUE feature will automatically ask the sender to resend the file, preventing the need for manual intervention.

The Net Integrator Super Server product starts at 3,480 (5,500) and goes up to 5,000.

It has already been installed within several printers in the UK and Europe.
