PaperExchange.com has strengthened its online paper industry service with a new branding capability.
The feature means that PaperExchange.com members can obtain a premium for brands that command a higher price. Buyers are able to search for particular brands and products from specific mills.
"Branding is an important requirement in many key sectors in the pulp and paper industry," said president Kent Dolby.
At the same time paperexchange.com has beefed up its online transaction process with improved email messaging. Another new feature is Target Request for Quotation, which enables members to deal only with their preferred suppliers.
"We recognise that our site members have a need to support both new and existing contractual business," added Dolby.
