At the Times of India – the largest English language daily newspaper in the world – the existing Nela installation will be enlarged and modified, following the purchase of two VCP Evolutions at Drupa.
Dainik Bhaskar has also opted for Nela inline solutions for its locations in Jaipur and Ahmedabad. It will install a VCP Evolution with an eight-position stacker later this month. The punched and bent plates will go on a KBA Prisma Rotation.
Nela says its main goal is to extend its customer base and user community in the Indian market.
Its other customers include the Hindustan Times, Dainik Jagran, The Hindu and Deccan Chronicle. Nela is represented in India by Newstech India, Krause and Manroland.
