NCS Group has become the exclusive distributor for Impact Solutions Piranha Byte compression software in the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland.
"We are particularly interested in linking Piranha in with FLEXSTOR.db, our digital content and asset management package," said NCS Group marketing manager Phil Dean.
Sales, marketing and technical support will come from the new NCS Advanced Technologies Centre in Leeds.
Dean said Piranha would "sit perfectly with all of our current developments. The ideal sales target will be an outfit where a remote workflow is involved, with Piranha operating as the real-time software."
"Target sales figures in the first year could be anything up to 500,000," Dean added.
NCS Group has sales of around 42m and 225 employees across the UK. It also has a subsidiary in Denmark.
