The kit is KAS' high-speed HS enveloper model and will handle the company's mortgage offers. Nationwide will use the Mailmaster to insert documentation printed digitally using Xerox equipment.
"The business is moving away from mortgage centres that have to rely on desktop printers and hand insertion to an automated centralised print and despatch facility," said Nationwide print services manager Keith Allsop.
He added: "We evaluated the machine thoroughly and it met all our criteria, which was quick set-up, ability to handle thick booklets and the ability to insert into all envelope sizes."
