The new flexible ink set for its UV-cured Zephyr printer in addition to the hard ink set already available widens the uses of the machine to include vehicle wrapping and any other job that requires the ink film to deform without cracking including thermoforming.

With an ability to be extended by 200% the new ink opens up applications that were previously the preserve of solvent and latex technologies to UV printing.

To address the burgeoning digital textile market the firm has launched two versions of its Kona cutters optimised for garment sample cutting. The Kona AC 1400 and 1650 (1,400mm and 1,650mm wide respectively), feature an automated tool carousel to switch between pattern cutting and marking and the firm claims offer an optimised apparel workflow.

They join the Kona range which was launched earlier this year.

Another boost to the firm’s textile printing portfolio is a new direct disperse ink set. The direct-to-textile inks are claimed to offer improved outdoor durability and a wider colour gamut.
