The printer invested in the new press, which was bought through supplier Litho Supplies, to boost its digital print capabilities.
"We need to provide customers with a wide range of services, including security printing, direct mail and large-format," said Multisets marketing director Iain Cox.
"Expanding our services requires careful investment in the most suitable technology."
Part of Multisets' work is to print security cheques for its blue-chip customers in the insurance market.
Multisets has a workforce of 60 and a turnover of 5.3m. It expanded its large-format business after merging with design company Artworking.
