London-based Mtadigital, which was previously known as MTA Reproductions, bought the Avalon to replace a seven-year-old Galileo CTP system.
Mtadigital managing director John Sinnott said: "The Avalon LF B1 platesetter together with the Azura gumming unit not only gives us the extra floor space but also enhances our environmental credentials by eliminating processing chemicals and reducing waste.
"Also, Agfa's workflow is really fantastic. We often combine litho and digital on the same job as both processes complement one another and the Apogee workflow easily manages all the jobs we produce whatever the process."
Mtadigital invests in Avalon platesetter to cut waste
Mtadigital has signed a contract for an Avalon LF platesetter and Agfa's Azura TS chemistry-free plate, which was launched at Drupa last year.
