MSCB renews 3m Iceberg print deal

Icebergs print management contract with Morgan Stanley Consumer Banking (MSCB) Group International, worth in excess of 3m per year, has been renewed for a further two years.

Iceberg print and production director Alistair Ezzy, said the Morgan Stanley contract had provided the platform on which Iceberg had been able to build its print management business.

Iceberg had been handling the Morgan Stanley contract for a year, prior to it being put out to tender after the group decided to extend the contract further.

Ezzy was formerly managing director of European sales for Vertis Europe, and joined Iceberg Marketing to manage its media campaign management and print procurement division in August 2001 (PrintWeek, 6 July 2001).

The contract includes the production of direct mail campaigns, statement inserts, general marketing stationery and collateral, such as posters, brochures, flyers and promotional items. The deal also involves print management for the group's marketing communications for its product portfolio.

Iceberg is involved in new format ideas, rebranding and VAT advice, and now works closely with the marketing teams as a print consultant, Ezzy said.

It currently has a team of four on site at Morgan Stanley Credit Cards offices to manage the account and deliver its campaigns.

The company is also responsible for managing reprographic services and it provides training seminars and awareness programmes to ensure Morgan Stanley's marketing teams are aware of new technologies.

Iceberg Marketing was formed in 1998 as an arm of Colorgraphic and last year had a turnover of 5m. Its clients include The Woolwich, LiverpoolVictoria, Bose, NFU Mutual, Page & Moy and Loans.co.uk.
