The machine, which joins the AutoCreaser to a Foldnak 8 bookletmaker, will take pre-collated material from any digital printer to create up to 1,000 booklets per hour.

The DocuMaster's price-tag weighs in at 23,500, with variable prices for existing AutoCreaser and Foldnak owners who wish to retrofit their kit.

Paper weights of up to 350gsm can be handled, while a range of different weights can be used within the same collated set. Booklet sizes of larger than A3 down to CD can be produced.

Software supplied with the package allows users to select the number of sheets in a booklet and then specify whether the top or bottom sheet should be creased.

An optional trimmer with a machine which flattens the spine of the book for a sharper fold is also available.
