Moorgate adds Essex office to sales network

Independent paper merchant Moorgate Paper has opened an Essex branch in Chelmsford, adding to its network of sales offices.

Managing director Neville Simpson said he hoped the business would grow quickly, and complement its offices in Luton, London and Yeovil.

The Essex branch, which will employ four staff, will be headed by Michael and  Phil Roblin, who used to own Zodiac Paper in Shenfield prior to its purchase by Capital Paper.

Clarence Paper Sales, Moorgate's branch in Yeovil, will change its name  to Moorgate Paper.

Its website address will change to www.moor gatepaper.com.

Moorgate Paper acquired York & Ford's Luton branch from the company's administrative receivers PricewaterhouseCoopers last month (PrintWeek, 18 March).
