The figures represent major growth at the greetings cards retailer from the £7.9m in sales recorded in the 12 months previous.
Pre-tax profits for the latest period also more than doubled from £2.5m to £6.7m.
During the 12 months to 2009, the company shipped 5.8m cards with a record of 99,000 sent on one day in February.
Nick Jenkins, Moonpig founder and chairman, said: "Our success over the past 10 years boils down to the simple fact that we have a fantastic product that is different from anything else you can buy on the high street."
He added: "That’s why more than 2.5m people a year keep coming back to our website to create cards for their friends and families."
Moonpig's sales and profits soar

Growing demand for digitally printed personalised greetings cards has helped online retailer Moonpig more than double its turnover to 20.9m for the year ending 30 April 2009.
