'Groundbreaking' integration

Mixam cooks up tasty opportunity with Pepper partnership

Pepper users can now auto-create print-ready cookbooks

Online printing platform Mixam has teamed up with social cooking app Pepper to give home cooks an easy way to turn their recipes into physical cookbooks.

Pepper has created an online community of more than one million home cooks who share and discover recipes from around the world.

The app has more than 80,000 recipes that can be searched using a range of options including ingredients, dietary requirements and degree of difficulty.

The new partnership involves a “seamless integration” between the two platforms, allowing Pepper users to turn their favourite recipes into a professionally printed cookbook directly from the Pepper app, without the need for complex formatting know-how.

Jake Aronskind, co-founder of Pepper, commented: “We’re thrilled to partner with Mixam to bring this exciting feature to our community.

“Our mission has always been to support the underrepresented community of everyday home cooks, and we can now help users transform their favourite recipes into something tangible they can treasure forever.”

Mixam head of sales Tim Webster said the integration was intuitive and easy-to-use, with Pepper users able to auto-create print-ready cookbooks, and the option to view a virtual preview before purchasing.

“It’s groundbreaking to take existing content and automatically create a print on demand book routed straight into production,” he explained.

“This partnership means users can showcase their passion for cooking in a professional format, whether as a personal keepsake or to share with others.”

The Mixam platform includes a wide range of customisable print products, and includes a white label reseller option. The firm’s UK HQ is in Watford.
