The installation of the Xerox 700 with an SRA3 oversize capacity feeder will help the company to expand its £400,000 turnover by 30%, which managing director Peter Wise said the company is currently on target to achieve.
"The 700 will assist greatly with the continued growth of short- and medium-run full-colour production, and will reduce lead time by increasing production capacity," he said.
"In terms of new markets, our expansion into the book, magazine and calendar markets are particularly relevant."
These sectors have been growth areas for the company and Wise claimed that even better quality at faster production rates will ensure Minuteman has the capacity to meet the accelerating market demand.
Wise's plan is to continue to market the business's services effectively, while benefiting from word of mouth and customer referrals.
"Our objective is not to be a victim of our own success, and I want the highest quality of product, delivered at the agreed time, to the right place," he added.
No further short term purchases are planned, although in the medium term, the business is hoping to expand its large-format production and perfect binding.
"In terms of new equipment, we are always prudent. The biggest mistake is to blindly exploit credit and spend without business plan justification."
Minuteman Press Bristol has four permanent and two part-time staff. Its sectors include leaflets, business stationery, flyers, graphic design and website design.
