Minimail gets Mint extension

Minimail, the print division of the JDA Group, has secured a two-year extension to its contract to provide print management services for the Royal Mint.

The contract, for an undisclosed value, includes direct mail, brochures and catalogues.

Minimail production director Les Peacock said: "It was initially a 12-month contract, with the option to extend if both sides were happy. Last year we did over 40 mailers for them, plus door-drops and magazines."

Peacock said Leeds-based Minimail was able to cope with a broad spectrum of work because it used around 40 printing companies and could select the best process for each job.

Minimail, which has six employees, also produces work for BT as well as the PDSA, the animal welfare charity.
