Miller leaves Royal Mail

Antony Miller has left Royal Mail six months after launching its direct marketing operation MarketReach.

Miller, who joined Royal Mail as head of media development in 2008, took the role of marketing director for the postal service’s MarketReach ‘full media service’ which launched in July last year.

Through MarketReach Royal Mail offers UK firms and agencies a range of direct marketing, creative, data, media planning, print and response evaluation services in an effort to increase mail marketing revenue.

Royal Mail’s head of marketing and commercial strategy Ben Rhodes has stepped into Miller’s role with MarketReach, on a temporary basis in addition to his existing responsibilities, until a successor is found. A recruitment process is underway.

MarketReach managing director Jonathan Harman said: "Antony has performed a number of key commercial roles during his career with Royal Mail Group and played an important role in the set up of the MarketReach business unit.

"I would like to thank Antony for his contribution to Royal Mail and wish him every success for the future."
