Receivers from Begbies Traynor were appointed to Midlands Print on Friday at the request of Royal Bank of Scotland Commercial Services, the companys factor.
Midlands Print traded from the same Tipton site as Newey Print, which went into administrative receivership in June after running up an outstanding balance of more than 100,000 with its factoring company, Bibby Factors (PrintWeek, 19 June). Humes was a director of both companies.
Midlands Prints staff have not been paid for six weeks.
Newey Print is also subject to a winding-up order, as is Midlands Publishing Holdings, Humes acquisition vehicle.
