The Nottingham-based printer was established in September 1969 employing only three staff, but now has a turnover of £5m and a headcount of 53 employees.
Stephen Tew, managing director and founder of MRP, said: "We started out in a 2,000sqft (185sqm) workshop doing jobs for local companies. As the business expanded, we moved offices several times before settling into our current location on Nottingham Road."
The litho and digital printer counts local and national businesses among its client base and last year produced the Real Meals cookery book commissioned by Children, Schools and Families secretary Ed Balls.
According to Tew, much of the company's staying power has come from its complete service offering.
"Doing everything in-house really makes us stand out from other printers. Our service is personal, flexible and can be tailored to the needs of individual clients," he said.
