Business Week, which will be printed at Trinity Mirror's Oldham facility, will be sent to "key decision makers" in Greater Manchester.
The 40-page colour magazine will be launched this Thursday (25 November), alongside an accompanying website.
By the end of January 2011, MEN Media intends to be sending 12,000 targeted copies through direct mail to individual people and businesses, as well delivering it to pick up points in the city centre, airport and business parks.
The title will use existing business journalists at MEN, although two additional editorial roles will be created, including a head of business.
MEN will also be expanding business news in its existing titles, with the Manchester Evening News featuring a four-page business section, from yesterday (22 November).
MEN managing director David Sharrock said: "We are delighted to announce the launch of Business Week. This investment shows that MEN Media are committed to producing the best in business coverage in Greater Manchester across our portfolio of newspapers and websites, which will benefit the business community in the area as a whole."
