Woodward died on 21 August and tributes have poured in for her since, both for her transformational role at the BPIF and for her tireless championing of the industry.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday 16 October at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street at 11:30am, followed by refreshments at the Punch Tavern, also on Fleet Street.
The BPIF said the service would “celebrate Kathy’s life and her contribution to our industry.”
Woodward’s family have requested that donations in her memory should go to the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, either on the day or via www.helenrollason.org.uk.
The BPIF has requested that those planning to attend the October service should RSVP to james.morrall@bpif.org.uk.
A private family funeral will be held next week.
