Rob Vale, senior vice president for European operations has stepped in to Mahoney's shoes at Erith-based subsidiary of office supplies company Guilbert UK.

Vale will remain in the role until a suitable replacement is found. For which a search is already underway.

Mahoney was previously country manager for the UK & Ireland with Office Depot & Guilbert, following Office Depot's acquisition of Guilbert in June last year.

Along with its own print Guilbert Print offers a print management service. Clients include Lloyds TSB, Next and the NHS.

Guilbert UK launched Printegrity last year, as an online print ordering service for business cards, letterheads and stationery, aimed at its smaller business that did not deal with its print management division (PrintWeek, 24 January 2003).
