The Tottenham, London-headquartered direct marketing and transactional communications business had originally taken on three of the machines in early 2020 and the fourth was added in March this year.
The new machine includes an online inkjet printer for envelope personalisation.
MBA Group production director Tom Nangle said: “This additional investment in the very latest Bowe Systec Fusion Cross (24K) inserter means that we will now have four of these inserters, two of which will have online inkjet capability, and will support our business growth, which is driven by a sustained increase in enclosing demand on the back of more new contract wins, plus an ongoing upturn in DM sales.”
Bowe UK will also be upgrading two of MBA Group’s existing Fusion Cross inserters with modular online cross-folding units, to help the company streamline some applications.
“We are pleased with the performance and flexibility of the first three Bowe Systec Fusion Cross inserters, coupled with the onsite service support from Bowe UK which means that our uptime is maximised for both our Bowe and third-party equipment that they support.”
Bowe UK senior account manager Steve Basnett added: “The versatility, ease of setup and reliability of the first three Bowe Systec Fusion Cross inserters installed at the Tottenham site has supported MBA Group’s growth strategy.
“The latest Fusion Cross inserter can enclose envelopes at speeds of up to 24,000 per hour and increases capacity and SLA turnaround, plus the addition of a second online inkjet further enhances both direct marketing and transactional mailing capabilities."
Serving sectors including utility, telecoms, financial, charity, travel, retail, health, motor, and central and local government, MBA Group has a second site in Warrington.
