and money, and allow bills to be printed and personalised in one line.
With transactional billing a lot of firms want bills to be more glitzy, and this allows us to do this, he said.
Full colour using Kodak Versamark is being considered, Goodey said, but there were still some enhancements to that technology needed before the group would commit itself.
The IBM Infoprint 4000 is a reel-fed duplex mono machine with 600dpi resolution. It includes a workflow with PostScript RIP.
Based in North London, the direct marketing and communication specialist companys transactional billing clients include local government, utilities and credit card providers.
It purchased selected assets of Paulton-based Polestar Select Envelopes earlier this month (PrintWeek, 4 March), which is currently being transferred into its envelope division in Milton Keynes.
The MBA Group employs 350 staff and has a laser printing and mailing facility in Warrington.
