Maximum Impact course to aid shift towards FM

Maximum Impact has launched a new course to help print businesses move into facilities management.

“We want to help printers recognise that in almost any printing company with direct clients, there is an FM opportunity,” explained Bill Davis, managing director at the specialist training and consultancy business.

“This is probably the most cost-effective means of improving profitability in the industry for the last decade, and they don’t need to get a loan to finance it,” he added.

The bespoke course is aimed at managing directors and sales directors. It costs £5,000 and involves a 10-day programme over six months.

Maximum Impact will carry out a preliminary half-day appraisal at no charge. This is followed by a phased implementation to decide upon strategies and objectives, the skills development required, and a follow-up support element to complete the training.

“FM is a far more strategic type of deal and a more exciting and fulfilling sale – it’s a more intellectual process,” Davis said. “This gives people a framework to use on other FM opportunities in their customer base.”
