The Tunbridge Wells, Kent-based commercial printer is a high-volume user with a daily plate output of 250 to feed its six B1 and B2 KBAs.
Assistant managing director Mark Lewis said: "Our commitment to our clients is to be green and we strive to make continuous improvements.
"A couple of years ago, the price premium of processless plates was too high. Now they've worked out to be more cost-effective."
Having switched from processed thermal plates to Agfa's Azura TS, Mastercolour, which has ISO 14001 accreditation, has slashed water and chemistry use, saving purchasing and disposal costs.
It has reduced its water usage 99% (460,000 litres per year), while developer and replenisher have been totally eliminated, saving 4,500 litres per year.
