Apollo Sheeters, the Bedford-based producer of sheeting equipment for paper, board and laminates, has been acquired by MarquipWardUnited (MWU), the manufacturer of corrugating, sheeting and finishing equipment for the paperboard folding carton market. Steve Brimble, MWU’s sheeter sales leader and managing director of the Apollo product line, said: “Apollo’s experienced team will allow MWU to better support a rapidly growing installed base in Europe as we continue to strengthen our product offerings, technology and competitive position.”
