Managing director Gerry Landers (pictured) said the 5,000-books-per-hour binder's automated set-up display was one of its main attractions, as was its compact size.
"And it couldn't be quicker or easier to change job settings and minimise downtime between jobs," he said.
"Inline scoring saves even more time and another plus is it takes A4 landscape to open new markets."
Jobs that the 20-staff Stretford, Manchester firm runs on the binder include brochures and report and accounts in runs of between 5,000 and 50,000.
"We have finished more copied and digital work since taking the BQ-270. We add covers in thicker stock as well as copier papers."
The 24,000 binder was supplied by Horizon's UK agent Graphic Arts Equipment.
