The new company will be headed up by joint managing directors David Knight and Andy Travis, while Magnet Harlequin chairman Patrick Bell will also serve as chairman of Maglabs.
Knight told PrintWeek that the company's immediate plans revolved around the expansion of Maglabs work within Magnet Harlequin, in order to enable clients to automate their marketing workflow to optimise efficiency and ROI.
"In the mid-to-long term, the experience we have gained in the last couple of years working with complex global organisations to create new revenue channels through emerging technologies and driving major cost reductions across all functions, not just marketing, will underpin the value we generate for our clients, and the value we build for ourselves," he added.
Maglabs, which employs a 30-strong team of business analysts, developers, project managers and client services personnel, has moved into its own 140sqm headquarters, which is located opposite Magnet Harlequin in the same business park.
