The UK supplier has bolstered its coated film portfolio with the new substrates, which it says benefit from clean-room manufacture. This is claimed to help offer a high level of consistency and cleanliness leading to strong image vibrancy.
The laminating substrates are available in thicknesses from 25 – 250micron and in films including gloss, lustre and matt.
Its new films and adhesives also help minimise silvering and eliminate ‘orange peel’ resulting in a glass-smooth surface.
According to Andy Voss, managing director at Madico Graphic Films, printers and their customers will "definitely like what they can’t see in our new optically clear finishing media".
He said: "For major international companies, upholding brand image is vitally important, which means that printers cannot afford to ruin their high quality, vibrant output by applying a mounting film that contains dirt, dust or any other unwanted foreign particles."
Madico boosts film quality with clean-room manufacturing
Madico Graphic Films claims it can provide a "100%" level of see-through vision for graphic applications after expanding its range of defect-free over-laminating films and double-sided mounting adhesives.
