It follows persistent speculation in the print industry that the multi-millionaire is looking to sell the BGP arm of the group.
In August, Madejski said in a BBC Four documentary that he has too many business interests and that he has "got to start relinquishing some of them".
However, he confirmed to PrintWeek last night that BGP is not one of the businesses he wants to sell.
Madejski's business empire consists of some 18 companies, including the £46m-turnover printer Goodhead Group – made up of BGP and sheetfed house Stones the Printers – which recorded a pre-tax loss of £18.3m last year.
On 30 September, Colin Rosser, one of the founders of the Goodhead Group and a former chairman and chief executive, joined the board of the Goodhead Group as a non-executive director.
Goodhead Group chief executive David Holland said the move does not mean that Rosser will have a stake in the company.
