M Partners has sponsored Scott since its inception in 2006 and saw him collect gold in the douple trap pairs event at the previous Commonwealth Games in India in 2010.
In Sunday's gold medal match, Scott hit a maximum 30/30 clays, pipping England teammate and training partner Matthew French who scored 29 after missing with his seventh shot.
French told the BBC: "99 times out of 100 you will win with a 29 but I could not have asked for much more."
Scott added: "I was hoping for a 27 but Matthew kept the pressure on me to the end with some awesome shooting. We have shot together before countless times, but I wanted to beat him, no doubt."
French collected the silver, while Indian marksman Mohammad Asab picked up the bronze after being knocked out in the first round of a sudden-death shoot-off following a three-way tie in the semi-final.
