The Leicester-based company, which employs 22 staff, bought the machine to handle short-run work, and overcome delays in its main finishing line.
Initially, the £2m-turnover firm installed the machine to handle work produced by its digital line, but it has since finished short-run work of up to 5,000 sheets from its litho machines on the Digifold.
Joint managing director John Kempin said: "Our digital work was causing one or two production problems on our larger folder inbetween the long-run jobs.
"Although it assisted us in getting that work off of the main folder, we talked about putting litho work on there as well. I didn't think we would go through with it, but it has also been taking the short-run litho work."
Meanwhile, equipment distributor Morgana has taken a leaf out of the UK car manufacturing market and is offering a buyback scheme this summer.
Morgana said it will knock between £1,000-£2,000 off the price of a new Major folder or AutoCreaser in exchange for outdated or redundant finishing equipment, whether Morgana or otherwise.
