The new prices will be applied in all markets on deliveries from 1 February 2023.
In a statement issued today (13 December), Lecta said the price increase “is unavoidable to offset the inflationary cost increases in labour, manufacturing and logistics”.
It said Lecta’s sales teams are at its customers’ disposal to provide specific information on the price increase application.
The Spain-headquartered papermaking group had already increased prices on all of its specialty paper grades on 1 September “due to the continuous and unprecedented increase of gas and energy costs”.
This followed a previous increase introduced in June that was implemented in Thermal, Carbonless, C1s, Release Liners, Labels, and Flexible Packaging papers.
