PrintWeek broke the news two weeks ago that the course was to be "rested" following a restructuring of the college.
However, head of college Sandra Kemp said admissions were proceeding under "an amber light", which means the decision to run the course is dependent on all 24 places being filled.
The course is back on the UCAS website and there are currently 11 applicants, leaving 13 places to fill by September.
Kemp said: "If we want to turnaround the course's fortunes - and we do - then if we severed the links with industry by not running the course, it would become harder to re-engage."
She added that the LCC would examine whether printing could be re-integrated with the school's other core subjects of media and design.
"It's been a long time since print really connected with graphic design," she said. "If we can get the students, reconnect with the industry and the rest of the college, print at the LCC has a really good future."
LCC print course suspension lifted
London College of Communication (LCC) is accepting admissions for the foundation degree in Print Media Management after a two-week suspension.
