Schillemans was previously EMEA vice-president of sales and market development for HP Indigo and HP's inkjet web business and has also held senior sales positions with Agfa, Esko, Xeikon and Xerox.

Schillemans, who is based in Belgium, joins the existing Landa sales team, which includes European sales manager Gerry Mulvaney, North America sales manager Kristof Dekeukelaere, and Kobi Ulmer who is responsible for all non-EMEA sales.
Formerly director of worldwide sales, Ulmer has been promoted to vice-president of field operations, making him responsible for "overall operational and logistical implementation of the company's market strategy, including global customer satisfaction, consumables, facilities and field logistics".

The first beta sites for Landa Digital Printing's B1 sheetfed press the S10, which will be the first nanographic printing press to reach commercialisation, are due to be up and running in the first half of 2015.
Mulvaney said that the focus in Europe would be on Germany and the UK first in terms of beta markets, as well as North America and Israel. He added that the first configuration the company would trial would be the simplex S10, which can handle thicker substrates, raising the likelihood that packaging and POS printers will be the first beta sites.
