The relaunched machines are the Syrius Thermal, for the thermal laminating sector, and Syrius Trade, for water-based and thermal laminating.
Head of business Jürg Spittler said: "For cost reasons, printers often fall back on the second-hand market, or buy inflexible, cheap models if they want to expand their service portfolio to include laminating.

Steinemann’s machines are capable of handling sheets from 420x297mm to 1,060x1,450mm and paper weights from 100gsm to 600gsm.
