Kornit Digital moves into Europe

Industrial inkjet developer Kornit Digital has announced that it will have a presence in Europe in the coming months.

Kornit Digital Europe (KDEU) will be officially opened in Stuttgart during spring 2010, alongside Asian pacific site Kornit Digital Asia Pacific (KDAP).

The new operations will enable the company to provide "fast, direct and top professional support" to clients around the globe, the company said.

Yael Cooper, marcom manager, said: "The office will provide full direct support services to Kornit's European customer base, including handling all deliveries of consumables and spare parts and managing a local inventory."

A demo room and training centre will also be available for professional training sessions, including technical operation and maintenance training, and comprehensive applications training of art and pre-press sessions.

Staff numbers at the site are still not known.

Kornit Digital develops, manufactures and markets industrial digital inkjet printers, pigmented ink and chemistry solutions for the garment and apparel decorating industry.

It launched its latest machine, the Kornit 921 Breeze entry-level direct-on-garment printer, earlier this year.
