Komori looking to reinforce its service teams

Komori UK is planning to extend its web and sheetfed service and installation operations on the back of strong Drupa sales.

"We already had a higher level of business prior to the show, but Drupa has heightened it that bit more," said Komori UK head of marketing Philip Dunn.

 

Another reason for the recruitment drive is that presses are becoming increasingly sophisticated and therefore installations and servicing are more time consuming.

 

"Printers are continuing to specify more complex specifications generally in terms of perfecting presses, coaters and all sorts of other configurations."

 

The group is looking for an additional service representative (web) along with several mechanical (web) and electrical engineers, although it couldn't be drawn on exact numbers of these.
