Kingswood Steele managing director Andy Steele told printweek.com that the London-based firm, which also offers design and direct mail services, had trialled the machine for several months before taking the plunge in the Duplo.
He said: "The simplicity and the fact the kit can carry out several functions at once really impressed me."
Steele added the Duplo has improved the 12-staff printer's short-run brochure work for exhibition companies, which it prints on its Xerox DocuColor 8000 and 6060 presses.
He said: "An operator can now start the machine up, get the job going and move on to something else. It frees up staff and saves us up to 70% more time compared to when we'd cut and crease separately."
The firm, which was established in 1995, also runs Wiro binding, mounting and encapsulating kit.
