The company has ISO 9001, 14001 and FSC accreditation across its London and Swanley sites, and has now achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification at the City of London hub, which prints for clients in the legal and finance professions. 60 employees work at the site.
Managing director Alan Rigglesford said the 27001 standard had been achieved after three months of intensive work on the rigorous processes and procedures involved.
“Lee Westwood our commercial director led the project and deserves full credit,” he said. “The average time taken to achieve 27001 is a year, so to be awarded it after three months really is a fantastic effort by the team.”
Rigglesford said clients were increasingly concerned about security, data integrity, and data management.
“With 27001 we have that credibility and assurance when tendering for work, it allows us to tick that box,” he added.
Kingswood iOptus was certified by URS Certification, which is UKAS accredited.
The City of London production hub encompasses 20 digital print devices as well as large-format kit for same-day production and runs 24/7, 365 days a year. The firm’s other production site is in Swanley in Kent.
Rigglesford said the group was aiming for turnover of £6.5m this year.
