KBA UK managing director Christian Knapp says he has completed his sales team by appointing Malcolm Riddle as technical sales manager for the West Midlands.
The new recruit follows Adrian Matthews, who joined the firm last August from Mitsubishi to oversee sheetfed press sales in the North of England.
Last year the firm also made Michael Grieger its national sales manager for the Karat digital press. He had previously managed digital technologies and business development.
Riddle spent 10 years at UK MAN Roland agent PPS in the same role as he now occupies at KBA.
He said KBA was becoming "increasingly competitive technically".
Knapp said KBA was entering 2002 with "one of the most experienced sales and technical teams fielded by any manufacturer in the UK market".
Riddle has worked for Artisan Press, Metal Box and Colorgraphic during over 30 years in the printing industry.
PPS is currently recruiting Riddles replacement.
