The ceremony will facilitate the top ten people in the Chinese printing industry. Kamal Chopra is a reputed name in North India because of his outreach work in the print industry.
In 2010, Chopra initiated a print yatra in the key North Indian cities with the aim of consolidating the printer's lobby which could make a representation to the Government.
Parveen Aggarwal, president, Offset Printers’ Association said: "Chopra's contribution is a unique 13 page calendar. This calendar offers a complete history of printing that goes back to 1,00,000 years. The calendar has found a special place in the Printing History Museum in Beijing, China."
Established in 1999 as Chinese printing industry's leading online media, the HC360.com is 12 years old. The top ten of the Chinese printing industry is an annual event hosted by HC printing website. It is sponsored by Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China, China Printing Association, Guangdong Printing Technology Association, Beijing Printing Technology Association, Shanghai Printing Technology Association and Shenzhen Printing Technology Association.
According to an official press release, the event is attended by overseas and Chinese print practitioners in order to network and increase mutual understanding.
In the past, the event has attracted major brands like: Heidelberg, Manroland, Kodak, Fuji Xerox, Komori, DIC, Agfa, Shanghai Electric, Hans Gronhi and Lucky Film among others.
