Just Digital managing director Adam Hill described the new machines as the “best in the market” and said they were a perfect “fit for our workflow". According to Just Digital, they were also purchased to be more cost-effective and improve automation to get rid of bottlenecks as volumes increase.
According to Duplo’s UK marketing manager Sarah Crumpler, The Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire-based company also purchased a KB4000 PUR Binder, an Ideal Guillotine 5560 and some finishing equipment.
The binder has a fully automatic set-up, with closed PUR glue tank operation and touchscreen control. It is suitable for photographic albums, journals, paperbacks, directories and instruction manuals.
