Gabb began his career on leaving school with Wolverhampton Box and, after 10 years, joined Box Carton where he stayed for 12 years.

He joined Crewe-based Jaymar Packaging in 1996 where he quickly became a pivotal member of the sales team. Paul's in-depth knowledge of the packaging industry proved invaluable to both colleagues and customers alike.

Gabb was a season ticket holder at Wolverhampton Wanderers and followed the team on their summer tour of Australia in 2009.

He will be much missed by his colleagues, customers and suppliers and is survived by a son and daughter and his parents.
